Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement Overview

1.1 This Agreement (the “Agreement”) is entered into between Coastal K9 hereinafter referred to as the “Company,” and the client, hereinafter referred to as the “Client.”

1.2 The Client agrees to engage the Company to provide dog walking and dog care services (the “Services”) under the terms and conditions set forth herein.

2. Services

2.1 The Company agrees to provide dog walking and dog care services as outlined in the service package selected by the Client.

2.2 The Client agrees to provide accurate information regarding the dog’s behaviour, health, and any special requirements.

3. Fees and Payment

3.1 The Client agrees to pay the fees for the Services as specified in the service agreement.

3.2 Payments for all walks are due in advance. 

3.2i 50% of the overall cost of boarding to be paid in advance and the remaining balance to be paid before or on the day of collection

3.3 In the event of late payment, the Company reserves the right to suspend Services until payment is received.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

4.1 The Client may cancel scheduled Services by providing at least 24 hours’ notice.

4.2 Refunds will not be provided for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service.

4.3 The Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule Services due to inclement weather, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances.

5. Dog Health and Behavior

5.1 The Client is responsible for ensuring that the dog is in good health and has up-to-date vaccinations.

5.2 The Client must disclose any known aggressive or dangerous behaviour of the dog.

5.3 The Company reserves the right to request protective adjustments (such as a muzzle) for restricted breeds or aggressive dogs.

5.4 The Company reserves the right to refuse or discontinue Services if the dog’s behaviour poses a risk to the safety of the dog walker or others.

6. Liability and Insurance

6.1 The Company is insured for general liability, but the Client is encouraged to carry their insurance coverage for their dog.

6.2 The Client agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from any claims arising out of the dog’s behaviour or health issues.

7. Emergency Situations

7.1 In case of emergency, the Company will make reasonable attempts to contact the Client. If unable to do so, the Company is authorized to seek veterinary care at the Client’s expense.

8. Confidentiality

8.1 Both the Company and the Client agree to keep any confidential information obtained during the provision of Services confidential.
